"Keeping An Eye Out" is one of those early side quests in ARC Raiders that looks simple on paper but can trip you up if you don't know exactly where to go. Celeste sends you out from Speranza to check on Bilguun, who's gone quiet after spending time topside ARC Raiders Coins. The job takes you to the Blue Gate map and is more about exploration and movement than heavy combat. If you know the route, it's a quick and easy win with some solid utility rewards.

The first objective sends you toward the Collapsed Highway along the southern edge of Barren Clearing, near the Adorned Wreckage area in Blue Gate's southwest corner. Depending on where you spawn, it can be a short jog or a longer trek, but rail hooks or a good parachute drop can cut down the travel time. Once you reach the broken highway overpasses stretching over the forest, the quest updates automatically. There usually aren't many enemies directly guarding the spot, though random ARC patrols can wander through, so stay alert.

From there, you'll need to head up the shattered ramps until you find a zipline running from the elevated road down toward the ground near Adorned Wreckage. If it's not active yet, interact with it to deploy it. It's basically Bilguun's shortcut between his hideout and the ground level. Riding it down first helps you understand the layout, but the real goal is finding his shelter tucked into a small alcove under the highway. You'll notice a dangling stop sign hanging near the concrete structure that marks the general area.

Getting into the shelter is the tricky part. You'll need to use the zipline and detach at the right moment to land near the alcove. Ride upward, and around three-quarters of the way up, jump off and hold to grab the ledge. If you mistime it, you'll fall and take a big chunk of damage, so make sure you're healthy before attempting it. There is another method where you climb all the way up and drop down carefully while mantling, but the zipline jump tends to be more consistent once you get the timing down.

Inside the small shelter, things are straightforward. You'll find Bilguun's calling card on the back wall — a rough eyeball graffiti symbol. Interact with it to snap a photo, and the objective completes immediately. There's no need to extract to finish the quest, though you can grab a bit of scrap nearby before heading out. Windshaft extracts north of Broken Earth are usually a safe bet if you want a clean exit.

When you return to Speranza, Celeste rewards you with a Pulse Mine and Flame Spray. Both are useful quick-use items. The Pulse Mine is great for stunning ARC groups, giving you breathing room in tight situations, while Flame Spray is strong against smaller enemies and helps soften mid-tier threats. It's a solid reward for a quest that doesn't demand much fighting.

A lot of players get tripped up by searching Barren Clearing too literally instead of heading toward Adorned Wreckage, or by jumping off the zipline too early or too late. Hurricane weather from recent updates can make things slightly harder since wind gusts can mess with your jump arc and reduce visibility. On calmer drops, though, it's much easier. This quest works well solo since it doesn't require coordination, but if you're in a squad, someone calling out zipline positioning can help.

"Keeping An Eye Out" is a small but satisfying mission that fits neatly into the game's early progression. It mixes light traversal challenge with a bit of environmental storytelling, and the rewards are genuinely useful. Once you know the route, it's quick to complete and worth running, especially if you're looking to build up tools and reputation without diving into high-risk fights buy ARC Raiders weapons.
