About us

Build to Suit offers a "design construct" approach to building that speeds the delivery of projects, ensures quality and lessens cost. We hand-select the designer that will best fit the customer's needs. In turn, we obtain engineers and subcontractors, who do their design in conjunction with the designer for a common objective. With customer input, we manage every step of design, while keeping track of expense and schedule. Once construction begins, we handle development, quality and last shipment, including close-out documents, commissioning and a one year service warranty.

Exciting development is underway at the former Story County Medical Center in Nevada, IA! We are proud to be changing this familiar landmark into 60 new housing systems, bringing fresh chances to the community. Residents are anticipated to relocate next year. A Wish Granted! ⭐ Ella, a brave cancer survivor and daughter of our teammate Chad Houge, recently had her dream given by Make-A-Wish Iowa - a memorable journey to Estes Park, CO with her family. This minute advises us that hope, resilience, and community make all the difference. We're honored to back up Chad and his family, and we're extremely grateful to Big Grove Brewery in Cedar Rapids, IA for hosting the event that assisted make Ella's dream a reality. We just recently completed a Rec Room renovation for our friends at Ronald McDonald House Charities, changing the space into a warm, inviting retreat for households. This update functions: ➡ Modern, comfy furnishings ➡ A mix of open event spaces and peaceful nooks ➡ A lively custom-made wall covering and area rug ➡ Interactive games on the walls and tables These thoughtful touches aim to produce a space where families can relax, reset, and feel supported. Today we had the chance to host Spencer, a recent Regina High School graduate, for a job shadow experience at BTS. He invested time both in the office and out on the task website, offering him a well-rounded, hands-on take a look at how a project comes together from start to complete. We're always glad to support trainees who are pursuing professions in the construction industry. It's an opportunity to partner with Regina High School and assist present students like Spencer to real-world experience in the field. We wish him all the finest as he heads to the University of Northern Iowa to study Construction Management! As we review Memorial Day, we're reminded of the sacrifices made by those who served - and the value of supporting those who continue to respond to the call. ❤ We just recently finished a renter improvement task for the United States Army in Iowa City, IA. This 1,700+ square foot space will work as a recruitment office and includes an open workplace area, a training room, the Section Chief's office, and toilets. This project is a strong example of our group's ability to deliver high-quality, practical spaces that support meaningful missions in our communities.
